Technician for the Care and Welfare Administration

The Care and Welfare Administration is one of Östersund Municipality's largest administrations and consists of the Home Care & SÄBO sector, the Disability sector, and the Staff, which in turn consists of six units. One of these is the Infrastructure Unit, which is now seeking a technician for one year with the possibility of extension.

Your New Job

Your main responsibility will be to install and service our security alarms and alarm systems in residential care and digital locks.

Common Tasks

  • Install/uninstall security alarms at citizens' homes
  • Install/uninstall digital locks at citizens' homes
  • Service/troubleshooting in other alarm systems within care and welfare operations
  • Conduct fire alarm checks
  • etc.

Your Competence

Requirements:

  • Driving license B
  • High school education

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience working with technology in care and welfare operations.

As a person, you are practical, computer literate, and enjoy finding solutions. You are also ready to work in an environment where teamwork and positive energy are in focus!

Since the work is citizen-oriented, we see that you have experience meeting people with different needs. Therefore, an empathetic and pedagogical ability is required to support the citizens we come into contact with.
